Oral Health Care Essentials Drive
Participate in an incredible chessed opportunity! FIRST, buy things like travel-sized toothpaste, floss, and travel-size alcohol-free mouthwash bottles. Then, bring the closed packages into school!
All donations will be given to the homeless population in Philadelphia in partnership with the Bethesda Project.
Oral Health Education at PA and NJ Family Homeless Shelters
A Broad Smile Foundation partnered with the Homeless Health Initiative to provide oral health education at shelters nearby. Dental and Pre-dental students travel to family shelters around the PA and NJ area to teach about taking care of adult and children’s teeth. We review the essentials while playing games together! We make sure to leave ample supplies like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss to keep everyone’s smiles shining bright. Thanks to all those who donate supplies!
START Science Oral Health Education and Experiment
Using A Broad Smile Foundation’s education resources, students at Yeshiva University taught elementary school children in multiple New York City public schools about how to maintain oral health through brushing and flossing!
They taught the science behind it and used the soaked egg-shell experiment to show how different substances degrade your enamel and cause cavities!

Oral Health Essential's Drive
The Yeshiva University and Stern College for Women Pre-Dental Club will be collecting donations of oral health care items. These items will be distributed in the Manhattan area along with guidelines on how to properly utilize the items!
Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to drop off items with the Pre-Dental Club during the given dates!
You can help too by leaving a donation through our website, which will be used by the students to buy additional items!
